6th Annual ISPTID conference
It is with pleasure that the Organizing Committee for the 6th Annual International Society on Prevention of Tobacco Induces Diseases invites you to join us in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA November 2-4, 2007. We are excited about hosting the 2007 Conference in our beautiful city and state.The conference theme is "Translational Approaches to the Prevention of Tobacco Induces Diseases." Some of the topics that will be addressed include mechanisms of addiction, legal and economical issues, sociological and psychological issues, prevention and cessation, as well as cause and effect relationships for specific medical disorders. The target audience includes physicians, scientists, public health officials, nurses, and other health professionals as well as policy makers who are interested in tobacco induced diseases and prevention.
The meeting in Little Rock is being organized by the University Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine's Department of Physiology and Biophysics in cooperation with UAMS College of Public Health, UAMS Arkansas Cancer Research Center, the Arkansas DHHS Divison of Health, and the Arkansas Tobacco Settlement Commission.
